Commercial Division Relocates to Accommodate Growth

Northern Ireland’s largest independent insurance broker has reported a massive growth in commercial business with new business doubling in the past year. 

Despite the economic backdrop, Hughes Insurance is a local business which continues to expand its operation - and the commercial division within the Newtownards based broker is leading the way, reporting 100% growth in its new business.

To accommodate this growth the Hughes Insurance commercial team has moved to new business premises in Sketrick House, Newtownards Business Centre.  The new 3,000 sg ft premises are better equipped to accommodate the expanding team, now up to 32 of the 208 staff employed by Hughes Insurance, who contribute 20% to company turnover.
